Hi I'm Clare and I'm really looking forward to welcoming you on retreat in January 2024 - I can't think of a better way to help you kick start your new year! 

I've been teaching yoga, meditation, and breath work in London since 2007, I'm a HeartMath® coach and trainer, and I present a weekly meditation on BBC Radio.

A daily meditator myself, I believe meditation to be the most important moment of my day. I'm passionate about helping other people to discover that within themselves too, encouraging them to deeper connect through the power of Yoga, Meditation and Wellness and helping them to feel happier and healthier - after all who doesn't want to feel a little bit better!? And this is precisely why I run retreats.

A retreat is a valuable time not only to unplug from the busyness of your world, but also a precious point in time that allows you to reconnect with your heart, body and mind. I look forward to seeing you in January!

Kimberly Parsons

Hi, I’m Kim and I am incredibly passionate about helping individuals, just like you, to live a life where you can be the best version of yourself. Food is a central aspect of this and I will be creating stunning, deliciously comforting meals for this very cosy weekend away. 

I am a trained Naturopath, Private Chef and Author of four published books including the best-selling title ‘The Yoga Kitchen’ (2016). I have run and cooked on yoga retreats all over the world with Yoga teachers from America, Australia and the UK, in beautiful locations such as Sri Lanka, Ibiza and Sweden. 

I have also amassed almost two decades of experience helping women with their reproductive health as a Naturopath. My all-natural yogic approach to menstrual health educates and guides women to synchronise their food, lifestyle and yoga with their innate and natural rhythms, to solve uncomfortable hormonal realities with information, direction, and subsequent improvement of their self-understanding and self-awareness. 


I was born in Australia and am the proud mum of two, living in Surrey where I am a keen gardener. I am excited to meet you, enjoy this cosy winter retreat together.

Accommodation at The Quaives

There is a variety of Accommodation to choose from at the Quaives but it is limited so please do book early to avoid disappointment. There are 3 cottages, a dorm room, rooms in the country house and even a bell tent! If you're travelling with a friend there are lovely shared options. If you're travelling alone, no problem, I can pair you up with someone to share with. The rooms are really just for sleeping as we have a packed schedule and sharing a room is a lovely way to make new friends. If you are against sharing there are a few select rooms that can be taken at single occupancy but these do come with a surcharge. It would be fantastic to have a nice full retreat - with lots of lovely yogi energy! On the registration page (button below) you will be asked for two room choices and I will do my best to accommodate your request or offer you another option before you agree to pay the holding deposit. If you have any questions be sure to include those on the Registration form too and I'll answer as soon as I can.

Trains from London:

The nearest train stations are Canterbury West and Canterbury East. If you are coming from London, the quickest trains are from Kings Cross St Pancras or Stratford, and take about 51

minutes to Canterbury West. You can then take a cab from the Station to the Quaives,
